Rebo is a freshman at the University of Wisconsin - Stout. They spent 2 years in kinship care before being placed into a legal guardianship. Though they faced a lot of challenges, they wouldn’t change anything about their experiences. Their favorite activities include dance and art, and they’re working on becoming more confident in themselves and their spirituality. They dream to become a social worker or work in the field of social sciences once they graduate. Rebo wants to advocate how someone’s past, mental health, and experiences in foster care do not define a person and is working towards getting rid of the stigma and lack of opportunities surrounding foster youth.
