Mandy Urwiler spent 5.5 years in Washington's foster care system.
Mandy was placed in the Washington foster care system at 15 and has been through 5 homes since then with her son. Mandy is a member of FCAA and has written an article in the Mockingbird Times about the Washington chapter. Her long term goal is to go to law school and focus on dependency law to represent foster youth. She currently works at the Mockingbird Society and wants to stay with them and eventually represent foster youth as an attorney or possibly become an Engagement Specialist at Mockingbird. Mandy does many things outside of work as well. When she has free time, she plays video games, RPG games, and plays 21 instruments including voice - most of them string instruments.
