Jai McClean, 24, Texas Foster Care System
Jai feels that her foster care experiences have provided her with opportunities to gain transferable skills such as effective communication and flexibility. The most influential experience that she feels she has had that will assist her in working with foster youth is her lived experience in foster care that helped.
She recently founded, Bride of Christ, which is a healing ministry and teaches young women how to honor God with their lives and body. She was the Vice President of AXON at Hampton University which is an organization that targets youth in the community to get them excited about science and research once they matriculate to college.
Jai enjoys majorette dancing, praise dancing, and traveling! In her spare time, she loves to travel to random cities & states.
