3 years in Missouri Foster Care System
Carson Long has been in care for three years and counting. He is attending Big Bend Community College for a two-year degree in Aviation. Carson has been in six placements: four foster homes and a group home twice. Carson played tennis for two years in high school and continues to play on the side for enjoyment. Drums are a big part of Carson's life, as they help him relax and cope with life in rough moments. He enjoys attending church regularly, watching TV, listening to music, and hanging out with friends and extended family. He hopes to have a better relationship with his immediate family in the future but has a wonderful relationship with his foster parents. Carson continues to grow in many ways and learn more life skills every day. He is driven to become successful and is working hard to achieve his life goals as a professional airline pilot and a family man. Carson's philosophy is that “when life gives you lemons take them and make lemonade”.
