Idaho Youth in Care Bill of Rights states that you have the right to lifelong connections with family, to be placed with siblings when possible and if not have a regular contact plan when safe to, to keep personal belongings, to have age-appropriate privacy, freedom from discrimination, be a part of your case plan, and make an informed choice in relation to your healthcare. You also have the right to a qualified advocate, to participate in educational and extracurricular opportunities, and a successful transition out of foster care including getting your needed documents.

This document was established for foster youth by the Idaho Foster Youth Advisory Board with the intent of empowering youth. The board is composed of former and current foster youth.
