Darius, born and raised in New York City, currently resides in Houston Texas. He enjoys reading, playing the guitar, traveling, and real estate. Darius also has an appreciation for nature, animals and at times simply watching the sunrise. Darius continues to value quality self time, as he finds new activities to experience. Despite the appreciation for time with himself, he also enjoys time with his family and friends.

Darius has graduated with a bachelors of Science from Medgar ever College. Prior to working at Fosterclub, Darius was a Project Manager for the Department of Homeless Services in New York City, to where he conducted projects to improve NYC’s shelter systems. Darius also has several years working with nonprofit organizations, within the child welfare and shelter system. Darius has worked, with multiple agencies to provide support to both foster youth and parents.

Darius' current role as a Project Coordinator for the System Change team has continued to provide him with the opportunity to utilize his professional skills to improve the child welfare system. Darius realized the lack of support foster youth were given while in care and joined fosterclub with the intent to improve this support. Darius continues to improve as a professional that can make a difference, and seeks to improve societal norms.
