LGBTQ Youth in Foster Care

So in the spirit of the Reno,Nv Pride going on today, I want to right about how hard it is for those youth in the LGBTQ to be themselves. Those of you who are in care or were in care and are either Gay, lesbian, trans-gender, bisexual or any thing falling in the Alphabet soup. I would like for you guys to know that you are not alone! I myself identify as a bisexual. I would like for you guys to tell me your story about being in care and part of the LGBTQ community. How hard is it? What do you want to change about your system on how they treat other in our situation because of our sexual preferences? How are your relationships with your peers/partners? Do you have a support system? How does your placement/ foster parents treat you? Your age, name, and state. Please email me I will not give out your name or anything without your permission I just want to know your experience: [email protected] or facebook me https://www.facebook.com/miesha.mack.37?fref=nf I want to leave you with a word of encouragement: Be yourself find that support system. I will be more than happy to be your support. If you are still hiding, don't if you the person (s) can't love you for who you are than, that is not a good place for you and its their lost! I'm a 2014 FosterClub All-Star and a bisexual women in the Reno,NV Foster Care System. Go Pride!! Your not alone I promise!! "The only thing to fear is fear it's self"--FDR
