FosterClub's Young Peoples Poll

FosterClub believes young people and alumni have unique insight about what their peers in foster care are experiencing, making them uniquely suited to recognize trends and emerging issues in foster care. In keeping with this idea, the first FosterClub Young Peoples Poll was recently launched. Eleven questions were asked relating to youth participation in foster care. The poll was held open for six days and received over 250 responses from young people across the nation, age 14-24 (abverage age was 16.5) Alfred Peréz, Foster Care Alumni of America Board Member and Advisor to the FosterClub Young Peoples Poll development team, presented the results at an event co-hosted by FosterClub on December 17, 2009, in Washington D.C.
