Zuleika Dixon spent two years in the California foster care system.

 

While in the foster care system, she worked with FosterClub as a youth ambassador in 2016 where she advocated for the issues youth face in the system. Zulekia enjoys reading, hiking and cooking. Zuleika received her associates degree in Sociology at the Community College Cerritos in California. Zuleika is an active member of  Leaders Involved in Creating Change (LINC), a resource center on campus for former foster youth, where they provide services to help support young adults in achieving their educational goals. Zuleika aspires to becoming a social activist and possibly a school counselor one day. Zulekia is excited to transfer colleges to either CSUF or CSULB where she wants to obtain a bachelor's degree in sociology.
