Vincent Bartle spent 7 years in the California foster care system.
Vincent was placed in 4 different foster homes during his time in care. While in high school, Vincent received the Gates Scholarship, the scholarship covered his tuition to attend the University of California. Berkeley is where Vincent achieved a double major in Computer Science and Business. Prior to entering college, Vincent interned at a law firm and helped 32 children become adopted as a staff intern in the Pro-Bono department.
Vincent is also the youngest member of the California Child Welfare Council. Vincent also acted as President of Cal Triathlon, a team of over 200 members, and Director of Cal Hacks, and management group for coding events managing a $200k budget.
