Victoria spent 2.5 years in Minnesota's foster care system.

Victoria entered the foster care system at the age of 15, in the middle of her sophomore year of high school. She lived in a relative/kinship placement home for a year before she was sent away. She found a permanent foster home and stayed with that family for a year, until she reached 18. She is currently in extended foster care and living independently at the age of 18.
Victoria will be attending the Minneapolis Career and Technical College, in her home of Minneapolis, Minnesota to work on her general associates and then transfer to the 4-year state university, the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities to earn her bachelor's degree in Communication Arts/Design. Victoria likes to read, sing, play video games and draw in her free time. She also enjoys teaching youth art in the summer at her local museum.
