Tasha is a junior at the University of New Orleans where she majors in sociology. Born and raised in New York City, she entered the foster care system at the age of nine. After several different places she was adopted at 16. Tasha has written for the foster teen magazine Represent published by award-winning Youth Communications. She wants to become a journalist or social worker to help change the misinformation and apathy in the world. Tasha is a writer, student, hat lover… and a foster kid.
