Re'Gine Jordan Wells, age 26, Ohio's Foster Care System

Re’Gine Jordan Wells is a 2019 BSW graduate from Cleveland State University. Currently, she works for the Cuyahoga County Division of Children and Family as a Child Protection Specialist in the short term sex abuse department. Re’Gine has spent 5 years in the Cuyahoga County foster care system before being emancipated in May 2014. Re’Gine has dedicated many years to foster care advocacy, starting when she was a youth in care, to when she emancipated, and until she graduated college. Re’Gine has worked with many different advocacy groups from her local county advocacy group to national advocacy groups such as Foster Club and NFYI. Re’Gine is not only passionate about changing the system but also being a direct example to other youth that come into contact with the system.
