Paris was placed in the system at age of 7 and remained there for 11 years. At the age of 18 she was placed in a different foster home which is her current home. Paris will graduate in May with a degree in Consumer Science and Merchandising, and a specialization in Training and Development. She plans to obtain her masters in a field related to social services with the goal to change lives one and help youth transition from care successfully. Paris states, “Living independently and being successful at the same time has been a grand learning experience for me.”Her volunteer work and leadership on behalf of youth is impressive. She has chaired and been a member of multiple committees, and is a mentor and advocate for youth in care. Paris writes poetry and keeps a daily journal. She also likes sports, including swimming, volley ball, badminton, bowling and skating. Paris also loves to dance listen to music.
