Paige entered the Illinois child welfare system when she was in the 6th grade.

Page describes her experience in foster care as “crazy”. She “moved every year since 6th grade” with multiple failed attempts at reunification.

Giving back and helping youth in trouble is important to Paige. She volunteers at a youth program in her city and for the Center for Youth & Family Services.

Page is working towards her Bachelors Degree and aspires to go even further and receive a Masters in Social Work.

“For all the times’ people gave to me. It’s for the people that gave me time in their life that they didn’t have too. I want to do this. I appreciate everything that everyone has done for me.”
