Lannette Harris, started in the foster system at the age of sixteen, but was under different guardianship at the age of fourteen in the state of Tennessee.
Lannette, cared for by her basketball coach, was able to stay in school and received many scholarships for college.
Although there was a bump in the road, she was able to push through college and is in her last semester of undergrad.
Lannette has a bright future. She is right on track to graduate, and plans to go into Healthcare Administration. Lannette wants to continue her education to become a labor and delivery nurse.
