Keyaira Morton

Keyaira has moved to many different homes within her family; 10 to be exact, all kinship placements. Her experiences in foster care have emphasized to Keyaira the importance of advocating on behalf of other foster youth. “I like to advocate for youth that are in care because I feel that everyone should know the policies that they are given in their district.” Keyaira has been able to serve on four different advisory boards in the past few years. Most recently she has been serving on the Baltimore City Department of Social Services Youth Advisory Board (BCDSS YAB) where she serves as vice president. She has also recently become a member of Foster Care Alumni of America. Keyaira enjoys basketball and softball. She also loves clothes, designing and wearing them. She also loves to get dressed up and spend time with friends.
