Kayla is wrapping up her fourth year at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Previously she was an intern for a non-profit organization, where she formalized the organization's volunteer program for individuals with developmental disabilities. The organization then hired her on as the Direct Support Professional where she has continued her employment in the field for four years now. In her years of advocacy for foster youth Kayla has been on North Dakota’s Youth Leadership Board. Upon graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Social work, she would like to work in Child Welfare. Kayla is a passionate individual who will continue to be a strong voice for her peers.
