Jaylyn Macomber

Jaylyn Macomber has been in a few different placements through the foster care system in Vermont. Through these placements, she has come to be true to herself and stay unique and outgoing. She is part of the Queer Straight Alliance, which helps those who are afraid to speak out know that there are people to advocate for them. As a freshman in high school, her GPA is over  4.0 and is constantly on the highest honor roll. Jaylyn wants to achieve so much in her life that she isn’t sure which way to go first but knows she isn’t going to slow down. From becoming a political scientist, a neurologist, a teacher or even a foster parent nothing is going to slow her down for her future.
