Jamie Bostain

Jamie entered foster care at 13 years old and aged out of the system at 18. Throughout her time in care, she experienced 8 placements including kinship placement, group homes, health facilities, and foster placement. Jamie aged out of her final placement and experienced some instability and struggled to get her feet back on the ground. After a few years of hard work and finding resources to move forward, she is currently enrolled at Mt. Hood Community College. While in the Early Childhood Education program, she got connected with FosterClub and is looking to switch her major to Social Work. Her passion for working with children has not subsided, but she has found a new platform she would love to utilize to help her give back and create change in the system she grew up in. She would be happy to help change the life of even just one foster youth!
