Jamare` entered the system when he was 10 years old. He moved around to several placements including a group home, shelter, behavioral treatment facility and with family members. Jamare finished high school as Valedictorian of his class and won several leadership, honor and sports awards. Now in college at Northeast Mississippi Community College he is engaged into a lot of activities, where he is an orientations counselor and ambassador, and made the dean list.

He is studying Nursing and received his Certified Nursing Assisted certification. He plans to enter nursing school this fall. He would like to own his own hospital one day. Jamare donates his time at the Boys and Girl Club and at group homes, where he tries to make a difference by providing inspiration and encouragement. He says” I have matured to become a respectful young man that wants the American dream and was taught that hard work will pay off in the future. “
