Hillary of Utah was placed in the foster care system at the age of 13.

Hillary’s time in care included moving between foster homes, the Girls Group Home shelter, and with teachers during her last year of high school. With strong perseverance and dedication, Hillary was able to continue her schooling and involvement in many activities. She was involved in AP classes, president of the 3 clubs, played tennis, and was on the dance company. While attending college full time, interning, and working, Hillary still finds time to dance once a week for the Boston Ballet.

Hillary has worked with various volunteer organizations and highly prioritizes community service. Within in the next 2 years, Hillary wants to complete a United Nations Peacekeeping mission, then return to school for a law degree in international human rights.

Hillary is passionate about social and criminal justice and would like to one day become a progressive Supreme Court Justice.
