After spending several years in foster care, experiencing a failed adoption and finding himself on his own at the age of eighteen, Eric Lulow relied on friends and mentors for support. He was able to put himself through college working as a construction worker and a youth advocate, and in May 2008 he graduated with a degree in Social Work.

He is a currently a case manager with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) where he advocates for foster children who have been abused and neglected. In the future he aspires to go to law school and start his own non-profit organization
