Cynthia Schepers was in foster care for eight years in Kentucky, experiencing many trying times, before she aged out of the system.  After aging out, Cynthia got in control of her life and made changes that help not only herself but also all of those she comes in contact with.  Cynthia now volunteers for several nonprofits which focus on helping foster youth and teaching them how to empower themselves. Currently a junior at the University of Louisville, Cynthia is studying to become a personal trainer and hopes to show future clients that good physical health is a big part of positive mental health.  Cynthia would like to keep educating young foster youth about how to make themselves stronger both mentally and physically.
