Brielle entered foster care when she was only 1 years old; she spent 7 years in New Jersey's foster care before she was adopted.

With the support from her adoptive parents, she overcame development setbacks and crushed stereotypes by graduating high school and earning her certificate in Culinary Arts from Job Corps. For the past 7 years, she has been singing with her church teen/young choir; she has also served as the secretary and vice president for the Children's Choir and the Junior Usher Board. At at Job Corps, she was selected as dorm leader and received a certificate in Advanced Leadership. Brielle's future plans include obtaining her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and becoming a teacher, basketball coach and foster parent.
