Volunteer VOLUNTEER to make life in foster care take a turn for the better. Help young people launch a Community Service Project (link to CSP) Represent FosterClub at a local workshop or conference Over the years, there have been many FosterClub Champions that help spread our message and raise awareness about young people in foster care. We’ve found that the more Champions we have in a particular area of the country, the more young people, foster parents and caseworkers access FosterClub’s services. You can download reproducible fliers, advertisements and more at www.fyi3.com/grownups/downloads.cfm. At various times of the year, we have materials available for display at conferences or for distribution at foster youth events. Contact the FosterClub office at 503-717-1552. Launch a Public Awareness Campaign (link to …And a Foster Kid campaign) Become a FosterClub State Liaison (link to FosterClub Liaison Page) Organize a Fundraising Event FosterClub is interested in hearing your ideas about other fundraising events and opportunities. We always encourage "great ideas". But for every great idea that becomes a great fundraiser, there is usually a strategy and lots of research and planning. Before you start, think about how your idea will be accomplished. Planning, budgeting, and investigating will save a lot of time and effort in the long run. Make one of your goals to solicit new markets - people who don't already know about FosterClub or foster care issues. In this way, you can help to raise both money and awareness. Please note that use of the FosterClub logo or name requires prior approval.
All logos, printed materials and PR must be approved by the FosterClub
office prior to use in any fundraising activity on our behalf.
